Bills CB White calls Gronk a "dirty player"

Bills CB White calls Gronk a

A dirty shot. So what's that make him? I'm laying there. He snuck me with my back turned.

Gronkowski, a Buffalo-area native, received an unnecessary roughness penalty on the play and a one-game suspension from the National Football League that will force him to miss the Pats' Week 14 road game against the Miami Dolphins on Monday night.

White received the injury at the hands of Patriots' tight end Rob Gronkowski. "I've got a son to raise, and all of that".

The incident occurred after White intercepted a Tom Brady pass that was intended for Gronkowski. People don't think about that when they react, but that's here or there.

White today blasted the one-game suspension Gronkowski got for hitting him from behind in Sunday's game. The tight end was flagged for unnecessary roughness on the play and apologized through the media after the game - White said Thursday Gronk hadn't reached out personally to apologize.

Listed at 6-foot-6 and 265 pounds, Gronkowski used his full force in landing on White, who is 5-foot-11 and 192 pounds. "I'm definitely (ticked) off", White said. I probably could've bit my tongue off. White was taken out of the game after the hit and he entered the league's concussion protocol. A awful headache. It is what it is.

Shortly after Sunday's game, Gronkowski told reporters, "I want to apologize to No. 27". When you see a shot like that, I don't care ... I mean, there was a lot of frustration and I was just really frustrated at that moment and it just happened naturally through emotions.

White was asked if had heard an apology from Gronkowski.

Asked if those comments meant anything to White, he said, "No. No one knows other than me", he said.
