Video Shows Officer Punch Woman Who Slapped Him at UM Game

Miami defeated Virginia Tech 28-10. Bridget Freitas has been charged with felony battery on a police officer and misdemeanor disorderly conduct as a result of the incident, according to the Associated Press.

Miami-Dade Police Detective Alvaro Zabaleta said that the department is now viewing the video to make sure the proper procedures were followed in the incident that took place at the Hard Rock Stadium, during Miami's win Saturday over Virginia Tech.

A video taken from the game allegedly shows Freitas being carried out of Hard Rock Stadium in Miami Gardens, Florida, by police.

Police say Farrington moved the child's body early Sunday to the dumpster in her apartment complex.

The officer immediately reacts, hitting her with force directly on the head with his right fist.

After flailing at one officer and missing, the woman then slaps another across the face.

According to an arrest report, Farrington was at home with her two children on Halloween when she became upset because Tania talked back to her.

It remains unclear what led to the woman being removed, or whether or not she was arrested.

By Sunday afternoon, the video had been shared on Twitter more than 3,000 times and was posted on numerous websites.

Per the AP report, University of Miami officials said there were multiple skirmishes in the stands during Saturday's game.
