Tiffany's Is Finally Offering Breakfast at Tiffany's at the Blue Box Café

The restaurant will open in Tiffany & Co's Home and Accessories floor on Friday 10 November.

Tiffany & Co. has been a fixture on the corner of Fifth Avenue and 57th Street in Manhattan since it opened its doors October 21, 1940. There are Tiffany Blue leather banquettes, Tiffany Blue chairs, Tiffany Blue plates (from their Color Block collection) Tiffany Blue trim, and walls with amazonite, "the nature version of Tiffany Blue".

Whether it's thanks to the iconic 1961 film (starring Audrey Hepburn as Holly Golightly in that iconic LBD) or the Deep Blue Something song you now probably have stuck in your head (our bad), at some point everyone has wanted to have breakfast at Tiffany's.

"Both the café and redesign of the Home & Accessories floor reflect a modern luxury experience", Tiffany & Co. chief artistic office Reed Krakoff said in a statement earlier this week. It's "immersion in Tiffany-not only the feeling of being inside a Blue Box-but surrounded by Tiffany hospitality", Moore says. Tea service with finger sandwiches will cost $49.

The first-ever retail concept will serve "American classics made with the highest quality, regionally sourced ingredients" and the menu will rotate with the seasons. The setting is as inviting as the food is inspiring, serving customers who have always dreamed of having Breakfast at Tiffany.

Tiffany's have recently launched a homeware collection, and the café will feature items from this, and be branded (of course) in the jeweller's signature blue colour. Breakfast will set you back $29, for coffee, croissant and your choice of avocado toast, truffle eggs, a smoked-salmon-and-bagel stack or buttermilk waffles.
