Moto X4 launched in India at Rs 20999

Motorola has finally launched its Moto X4 for the Indian market for a starting price of Rs 20,999. The smartphone will be exclusively available through Flipkart and Moto Hub stores starting from 11:59 on November 13.

Moto X has always offered a powerful combination of the best of Android and Moto Experiences with a uniquely intuitive user experience that consumers love.

The X4 marks a major design shift for the X series. However, Motorola claims that it will make it to India eventually.

The new smartphone does carry plenty of excellent specifications.

The Moto X4 rocks a 5.2-inch Full HD display that comes with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels. In addition, its dimensions are 148.35 by 73.4 by 7.99 mm. It offers large viewing area and can be handled from one hand. On the storage front, the device offers a choice between 32GB/64GB internal memory alongside a microSD card slot that is capable of supporting up to 256GB. Meanwhile, the second has 4GB and 64GB respectively.

There's a 3000mAh non-removable battery powering the phone. The Moto X4 is powered by a 3000 mAh battery with TurboCharge capabilities. It boasts of impressive power, clocking up to 2.2 GHz. The 14nm Snapdragon 630 processor consists of 4 high-performance ARM Cortex A53 cores clocked at 2.2GHz paired with 4 ARM Cortex A53 cores clocked at 1.8GHz for low-intensity workloads. Motorola has opted away from rubber or plastic. This essentially allows you to use gestures and actions to control the device. It is IP68 water and dust resistant, immune to water up to 1.5m of depth for 30 minutes.

The Moto X4 has had a rather bumpy journey to India. The back panel also features a big camera hump that features the dual-camera setup. The rear camera is accompanied with a dual-LED flash and PDAF (Phase Detection Auto-Focus).

The phone also has 16 megapixels front camera with f/2.0 aperture. It accompanies highlights like versatile low light mode, confront channels, beautification mode, selfie display, and expert mode.

With these brilliant camera systems, this new device really does stand out amongst other mid-range phones. Interestingly, this phone featured both Google Assistant and Amazon Alexa as voice-based virtual assistants.
