Android users might not want to admit it, but iOS has a larger roster of premium apps, many of which cost money.

iOS 11.0.1, iOS 11.0.2 and iOS 11.0.3 are small updates, but they include important fixes and changes that could help your iPhone or iPad run better.

Apple on Thursday released a fix for a bug that's been driving some of its iPhone and iPad users batty.

It's essentially what was promised when Apple first announced the idea this past June: iOS users can text money to each other.

The autocorrect bug meant users had a hard time talking in first person with their iOS devices. The patch fixes a problem that prevented some users from typing the letter "i".

If you're up for it, you can download the iOS 11.1.1 update for free on all eligible devices via the OTA mechanism.

For now, the service is available for USA customers only with iOS devices on 11.2 or later. All of the changes in those updates are now rolled into iOS 11.1.1, which arrived as a small, but very important upgrade to iOS 11.1.

The source of funding is any debit or credit card already set up in Apple Pay. The Apple Pay Cash card can then be converted to money and deposited into a bank account, or may be used to make purchases within Apple Pay.
