Walmart leaks the Google Home Mini and Pixel 2 XL yet again

A genuine comedy of errors just took place in anticipation of Google's big product launch event tomorrow, as a Twitter user by the name of Raymond Durk randomly caught a glimpse of a "GoogleHome2787" device in need of urgent setup.

While Google is likely to announce other products at the event, what the world waits for is the announcement of new Pixel line-up in the form of the Google Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL.

Google's presentation kicks off at 9 a.m. PT/12 p.m. ET, with CNET's preshow starting 30 minutes early.

Google Home Mini smart speaker packs the same set of features that are present in the original Google Home.

We recently reported about a premium Google Home that could be launched to compete with Apple's HomePod. The bottom visibly houses a USB Type-C port. From what we know so far, it will come with a fabric material on top similar to what we've seen in the Google Daydream View VR headset.

The most-anticipated Google Pixel 2 flagship smartphone also showed up on Walmart site in tandem with the Google Home Mini. Surprisingly, Walmart's listing also gives us another look at the Pixel 2 XL, this time with the screen on and the Google Home app open.

Google's upcoming new high-end Pixelbook already leaked out ahead of the company's upcoming event, but a new leak from electronics reseller Synnex has revealed some more information about the upcoming device, via 9to5Google. The report claimed that the Home Mini will offer the same functionalities of Google Assistant-powered smart speaker features as to its larger sib, but at a shrank size. It's expected to cost $1,199 for the 128GB model, $1,399 for the 256GB model, and $1,749 for the 512GB option.
