Surprising Short Runtime For Rajinikanth's 2.0

Karan Johar was one of the hosts for the evening along with Rana Daggubati and R Balaji.

The new poster of 2.0 was also released yesterday ahead of the music launch and it definitely set the screens ablaze.

When Karan asked about things that he like and hate in people today, Rajinikanth replied: "What I like is that they are obliged and humble". He believes that they should not do this, all the young generation should enjoy their life, but they should never forget their culture and their tradition.

Recently at a press meet, Rajinikanth said that "2.0" has a global appeal "It will appeal to both the global and Indian audiences". The 66-year old actor is all set with his next movie 2.0 which is touted to be the costliest film ever made in the history of Indian cinema. "I can only say that during the making of those 130 films, I got to learn little from every film, but I was learning throughout the shooting of this film".

Speaking at the event, Latha Rajinikanth said: "It's a very big moment for me". Two songs from the film will be launched today in Tamil, Telugu and Hindi. I wish to salute him for his hard-work in 2.0. The lavish event began with some scintillating dance performances dedicated to Rajinikanth while actress Amy Jackson, who also features in 2.0, grooved to the beats of the first song from the film. Reportedly, the worldwide premiere of 2.0 is scheduled for 25 January 2018, and it is expected to be released in 15 languages.
