'Star Wars: Battlefront 2' News: Multiplayer Restored on the Classic 2005 Installment

Pre-orders for the Star Wars Battlefront II: Elite Trooper Deluxe Edition includes three-day early access to Star Wars Battlefront II as well as upgraded versions of all four trooper classes in the game.

EA have confirmed that it will start on PS4, Xbox One and PC, at around 9am BST.

Now's a ideal time for you to join in too even if you've never played before as Star Wars Battlefront 2 is on sale on GOG for less than a fiver. Onslaught and Team Battle modes are available as part of the Aracade portion of the game.

Which leads to the big question of getting a code for this event. For those of us who haven't pre-ordered, the beta goes live from 9am on Friday 6th October. Press at an incorrect time, however, and you'll have to wait even longer for your reload to finish, costing you valuable time and perhaps your life.

Reports have revealed that "Star Wars: Battlefront 2" now has support for multiplayer once again.

Electronic Arts and DICE have released a trailer dedicated to the upcoming beta testing Star Wars Battlefront II. However, those who have preordered the game from the PlayStation Store have been able to jump straight in with their download today, with no update as to when those with codes can be expected to play.

Gamers can play the full version of the game when it releases on November 17 for PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One. Doing so will unlock rewards in the full game.
