Rodgers Says Barr Gave Him The Finger After Bone-Breaking Hit

According to Rodgers, Minnesota Vikings linebacker Anthony Barr directed a pair of obscene gestures at the Packers quarterback following the hit that weren't shown on television.

"I looked over at him as I was walking off the field", Rodgers said on Conan O'Brien's late-night show on TBS.

Rodgers appeared on "Conan" during the Packers' bye week after he underwent surgery last Thursday to fix his right clavicle. "Sometimes you exaggerate. And then sometimes, you tell the truth".

Rodgers suffered a broken collarbone on the play, and had a few words to say to Barr.

Rodgers has to remain out for a minimum of eight weeks. "The cameras caught me saying something to him, but what they missed was him [giving the] finger, "suck it" sign", Rodgers said on "Conan".

Barr broke Rodgers' collarbone in a game earlier this month when he drove the Packers QB to the ground on his right throwing shoulder.

Packers coach Mike McCarthy said the hit was an "illegal act". He said that the "worst-case scenario" is that Rodgers will not play again this season.

Rodgers recently underwent surgery to fix the shoulder, and there's reportedly slight hope he could return before the end of the season.

So it'll be interesting to see if the National Football League decides to go back to look at the tape after Rodgers' claims and would bother to dole out punishment this far removed from the incident.
