PSG's Mbappe wins Golden Boy award

PSG's Mbappe wins Golden Boy award

It comes as not a huge surprise that Mbappe won the award following some sensational displays for Monaco in the Champions League.

Her owners became Rafael van der vart, Wayne Rooney, Lionel Messi, Cesc Fabregas, Sergio Aguero, Anderson and Alexandre Pato, Mario Balotelli, Mario Gotze, ISCO, Paul Pogba, Raheem sterling, Anthony Martial and Renata Sanches.

The French attacker is the 15th victor of the award which has become known as the "young Ballon d'Or".

Jesus, meanwhile, has made a significant impact at City since finally arriving at the Etihad Stadium in January six months after completing a £27m ($35.5m) move from Palmeiras.

It again makes you wonder how Mbappe was allowed to leave Monaco for PSG in a loan deal during the summer.

PSG star, Kylian Mbappe, has won the golden boy award to join an illustrious list of young footballers to have won the prize during their footballing careers.

France worldwide, Dembele, has already completed a giant move of his own, heading to Barcelona in the summer for €105m before additional payments, though the man signed by the Camp Nou outfit to replace Neymar is on the sidelines with a long-term hamstring problem.

AC Milan goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma came fifth in the Golden Boy voting, with talented Dortmund winger Christian Pulisic - who will miss next summer's World Cup after the U.S. inexplicably failed to qualify for the tournament for the first time since 1986 - sixth and Ajax's Danish forward Kasper Dolberg seventh. Whilst Christian Pulisic must still be smarting from the USA's failure to reach the World Cup.
