Nvidia launches GeForce GTX 1070 Ti at Rs 39000

ZOTAC's upcoming GeForce GTX 1070 Ti series of cards will be led by the flagship GeForce GTX 1070 Ti AMP! Specifically, the GeForce GTX 1070 Ti has been teased for months - sometimes with a current horror-theme bent. In addition to tons of GTX 1080 features, NVIDIA teased that their partner AIB resellers "have built cards with thermals and power supplies that allow gamers to push performance way past stock specifications".

What's most impressive about the Nvidia GTX 1070 Ti Founders Edition (FE) is its $449 or £449 (about AU$580) price isn't too far off from the Nvidia GTX 1070 (FE) that costs $399 (£379, AU$699).

Cards from partners will also be available at £419, including from Asus, Gigabyte, MSI, Zotac and Palit.

NVIDIA has announced yet another graphics card based on the Pascal architecture, the GTX 1070 Ti. It is also good news for gamers who might want to save a few bucks over the GeForce GTX 1080, while achieving similar performance. The street price will vary due to the existence of cryptocurrency mining. What's more, it comprises of 2,432 active CUDA cores that are divided into 19 clusters (officially known as Streaming Multiprocessors).

We can finally stop talking about the GeForce GTX 1070 Ti as a speculative release based on leaks and rumors.

The GTX 1070Ti goes on sale starting from today. That's probably because GTX 1070 Ti has the same TDP as GTX 1080, which is 180W. The GPU packs 8 GB GDDR5 frame buffer along with 8 Gbps Memory type speed, a 256-bit memory interface width and up to 256 Gbps memory bandwidth. Much like the 1080 Ti released earlier this year, it serves as an upgraded version of the existing GTX 1070 model.
