Jurgen Klopp Addresses Philippe Coutinho, Emre Can Exit Rumors

Meanwhile, Coutinho has expressed his anger at the way Liverpool defended in their emphatic 4-1 defeat to Tottenham on Sunday.

Coutinho was the subject of three bids from Barcelona in the summer, including one worth up to €130 million (£119 million), per the Guardian's Andy Hunter.

However, links to the Camp Nou have not disappeared, and recent reports indicated Liverpool could be prepared to sell Coutinho to Barca in January, per Mundo Deportivo (via MailOnline's James Dutton).

Citing sources in Spain, it adds that Barcelona's failure to sign the Brazil worldwide in the summer has not dented their interest.

Barcelona may not be the only team Liverpool have to fight off in January as they look to keep Philippe Coutinho at the club; as Paris Saint Germain are reportedly still keen on the midfielder.

Last month, reports claimed Liverpool owners Fenway Sports Group would be "much more receptive to negotiating" a sale if Liverpool were out of the Premier League title picture.

"If there is interest in signing any player in January who's not here at the moment, I wouldn't like it to be broadcast all over the world", Valverde said. Can you imagine what it would be like if I said "yes, we have an agreement to let him out"?

'Right now, the truth is that nobody thinks about this.

"We do not talk about it, why should we?"

He added: "In general, as a club, we have to create a situation in which players want to be part of everything they have. We have all the other things", said Klopp.

"Everyone wants to be part of this but there will come transfer windows and we will see what happens". It is not important in the moment.
