Jane Fonda Has No Time for Megyn Kelly's Plastic Surgery Questions

Jane Fonda Has No Time for Megyn Kelly's Plastic Surgery Questions

"Well, one of the things people think when they look at you is how good you look", Kelly added. "You admit you've had work done, which I think is to your credit and you look unbelievable".

"The truth is I am kind of done with politics for now", she said.

She sparked some backlash by asking Jane Fonda about her history with plastic surgery - a question that got shut down by Fonda.

29 to a rousing reception, with critics praising this fourth film pairing of Jane Fonda and Robert Redford. Fonda replied to Kelly's poorly-timed line of questioning. "I have and I've talked about it", Fonda said. "Sometimes you ask questions in an interview and, live TV there's awkward moments all the time".

Tersely, the two-time Oscar victor noted her "good attitude" and "good posture" as factors behind her youthful appearance before redirecting the conversation to the topic at hand: her movie.

The segment ended a rollercoaster week for the program, which now serves as the third hour of NBC's daily "Today" show lineup. The not-so-funny comment "dismayed" Will & Grace star Debra Messing to the extent that she publicly said she regretted appearing.

"Not that it's anyone's business, but I did not make a decision to alter my face and have surgery on my eyes", Zellweger, then 47, wrote. At the end of her first week, Megyn made remarks thanking viewers for tuning in. "I wish I were fearless enough to not do plastic surgery but I think I bought myself a decade". "And there's something irresistible about the way that a smitten Louis tells Addie, 'I just want to live out my day, then come tell you about it at night'". In the first week of her NBC Morning show, Kelly's officious and smug personality is making for some uncomfortable moments on the tube. "It seems as if she is OK to talk about it [plastic surgery] on her own terms, but not other people's".

Ms. Kelly's "whatever" in Trumpian terms seems to be showing and it's not a pretty sight - no matter her well-coiffed looks.

"Bob Redford and I started working together in our 20s", Fonda says, as footage of their classic films play in the background.
