Four of a family, guard killed in Delhi home

"Can't say motive behind the murders now but we have a few inputs and probe is underway", Special Police Commissioner said.

Shoaib Qureshi, a businessman who runs a shop across the road, said that though the family was extremely rich, they never looked down upon anyone.

Four women members of a family, along with a security guard, were found murdered in East Delhi's Mansarovar Park on Saturday, said news reports.

The house was found ransacked but it was not known if any valuables were stolen.

The four deceased - reportedly from the same family - were identified as Nupur Jindal (35), Anjali Jindal (33), Urmila (65) and Sangeet Gupta (43).

Nupur Prasad, Deputy Commissioner of Police (Shahdara), said that Urmila was planning to sell off some of her properties. She refused to give more details.

When Urmila's nephew went to take the vehicle key from the first floor where she stayed with her daughters, he found the door was open. Two of them were unmarried and the eldest was also a widow.

Forensic experts video-graphed the spot and took blood samples and finger prints.

The house is located in a compound where seven families comprising 40 members reside.

As per CNN-News18, the deceased were stabbed with a sharp weapon, which has been recovered from the spot. The police suspect that some laborers could be behind the crime.
