Destiny 2 Iron Banner Brings New Weapons Next Week

Destiny 2 Iron Banner Brings New Weapons Next Week

The Leviathan Raid's Prestige difficulty will be available to Destiny 2 players from 10:00am PT on Tuesday October 10 - so a few hours after next week's reset, in other words.

However, both modes have been adjusted. Instead, Destiny 2 players will get Iron Banner engrams. Well, Bungie has been paying attention and has said "Challenge Accepted" for those finding "easier" ways to manage the incredibly challenging raid by making it even moreso: with the Prestige Raid. Well sadly, that is the case no longer. Originally, Iron Banner events enabled Light Level Advantages - Guardians with higher light levels took less damage (and dished out more damage) to opponents with lower light levels. However, the better you perform in a match, the more Iron Banner Tokens you get.

The studio is already aiming to build a "big, expansive story", which it has so far successfully managed to lay the groundwork for in its base game of Destiny 2.

The Iron Banner event has gone through some changes. All you have to do is have beaten the Destiny 2 campaign, which should've definitely been done by now. "Mechanical changes to the encounters are minimal, but they are there". "Our goal is not to provide a boon to your character progression, but there are unique rewards to help you shine.", Bungie stated. The first group to complete the new version of the raid will also be rewarded, but it isn't clear exactly what that means yet. Fighting abilities, not power levels, will decide the outcome of the match according to the blog post. I fucking hope so. A reveal of what these will actually entail is scheduled for TwitchCon at the end of October. Once again, we're seeing dedicated players polish off just about everything that the release has to offer before demanding more. But where improvements have been vastly made in its narrative and left many excited to see what is to happen in the vast universe next, Destiny 2 still suffers in its end-game content. Still struggling with hitting the 305 cap?

Once you have enough Iron Banner tokens you can claim new armor.
