Southwest Airlines said it is "not now experiencing any operational impact at McCarran International Airport" due to the shooting.

A United Airlines spokesperson was not immediately available to confirm whether this is the first violence-provoked travel waiver from the carrier.

Las Vegas is a major destination in the United States, with numerous top airlines flying in and out of McCarran International Airport every day.
