Xiaomi is all set to hop on the wireless charging bandwagon if its new membership of the Wireless Power Consortium is any indication. But the Xiaomi company is listed to join on the Wireless Power Consortium (WPC) member on the WPC website.

There are now no iPad models that support the Qi standard for wireless charging. Over the years, wireless charging has become a standard parameter for flagship smartphones as the trend and need for wireless charging has increased.

Following the traditional timetable, Mi 7 is expected to arrive in the first quarter next year, around the same time when Samsung will unveil its Galaxy S9 series. It is a convenient, neat little technology and with the expansion of furniture manufacturers like Ikea integrating wireless charging pad in its new range of furniture makes it an essential feature nowadays. Otherwise the Apple iPhone 8 compared to the seventh generation has not changed, except he now has a glass cover on the rear panel that covers the wireless charging standard Qi.

The Mi 7 might also be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 processor with 6GB or 8GB of RAM. The Xiaomi Mi 6 flagship arrived this past April, as pointed out The Android Soul. Are you looking forward to being able to charge it wirelessly? The Xiaomi Mi 7 smartphone is expecting to feature a 6-inch OLED display support. The Xiaomi Mi Mix 3 will probably come with this feature too.
