It's going to be a tough night in Lexington.

Florida did not lead until the final minute of the game, and they had to overcome a 27-14 deficit.

Arizona State (2-2, 1-0) converted a crucial third-and-6 play on a 10-yard pass from Wilkins to Jalen Harvey to get Arizona State into range for the winning field goal. "I've got to do a better job in certain areas to put ourselves in position to win".

After leading 27-14 in the final stanza, the Wildcats allowed the Gators to come back and win 28-27.

The Wildcats were in control for the majority of the game.

With seven minutes left in the first half, the Gators tried to capitalize off of two free kicks 10 yards outside the box, but its pair of shot attempts were stopped by senior goalkeeper Kat Stratton to keep Florida off the boards and end the half scoreless.

The game-winner proved to be a 5-yard touchdown pass from Luke Del Rio to an undefended Freddie Swain in the end zone with 43 seconds left.

The Wildcats also had a miscommunication on a key fourth down possession in the second quarter. No one from UK's defense was covering Tyrie Cleveland. With 14:16 to go in the half, we're tied at 7.

"There's no excuse for it", Stoops said via 247Sports. "The breakdown in communication on the two plays is a sore spot". These guys work hard and frustration sets in because they want the ball, they want to play. We have plenty of people that can watch and look for things.

Johnson hit tight C.J. Conrad for a 23-yard touchdown strike on the Wildcats' first possesion of the third period and after a second straight three-and-out by the UF offense, United Kingdom drove 41 yards for a 42-yard McGinnis field goal and two-possession advantage.

Oklahoma State (3-1, 0-1 Big 12) immediately notched the first of its three needed touchdowns, moving 79 yards in 2:19 and culminating in a 1-yard Rudolph keeper to pull within 37-24 with 9:44 to play.

The Wildcats regained the lead in the second quarter as Johnson hit Garrett Johnson for a nine-yard score. Austin MacGinnis' kick was straight, but fell short.

Despite the miscues, the Wildcats regained momentum in the second half building a 13-point lead. But, Austin MacGinnis hits a 42 yard field goal and United Kingdom goes up 24-14.

Despite the advantage, the Wildcats couldn't put the game away. Six plays later, Powell took a direct snap and raced to the left pylon to draw UF within six. Further deepening the wound that never heals, a 10-yard gain by the Cats that would have given golden-toed kicker Austin MacGinnis a very makeable field goal for a last-second game victor and streakbuster was waved off by a holding call.
