Tottenham Hotspur Target Isco Signs New Real Madrid Contract

As predicted earlier, Real Madrid managed to reach an agreement with its Spanish star player Isco, concerning his contract extension at the Estadio Santiago Bernabeu.

OFFICIAL: Marcelo has signed a new contract with Real Madrid until June 2022.

Now 29 and the club vice-captain, Marcelo has won three Champions League titles, four Ligas, three European Super Cups, three Spanish Super Cups, two Copas del Rey and two Club World Cups during his career in the Spanish capital.

Marcelo joined Real Madrid from boyhood club Fluminense as a prodigious 18-year-old in the winter transfer window of 2007, brought in as the long-term successor to his compatriot Roberto Carlos.

As reported by various media in Spain, according to plan on Friday (9/15/2017) tomorrow, Madrid is going to hold a press conference session related to new contract of Isco. He is now the club's second-longest serving foreign player with 414 appearances, behind only his compatriot Roberto Carlos, who played 527 times for Real Madrid. Marcelo will miss Sunday's match at Real Sociedad and Wednesday's game against Real Betis.

The left-back will be suspended from Madrid's next two La Liga games after his ban for being sent off for a kick at Jefferson Lerma in Saturday's 1-1 draw at home to Levante.
