Priyanka Chopra, Questioned For Jordan Visit, Shuts Up Critic

The 35-year-old actress is spending most of her time with the kids, playing with them and also teaching them.

When Priyanka Chopra is not out living the glamorous life of an global superstar or spending time with her family, she is doing her bit to fulfil her goodwill ambassador duties.

Sonakshi Sinha has praised Priyanka Chopra, the goodwill ambassador for UNICEF now in Jordan to help children uprooted by the civil war in Syria, describing her as a "woman of substance".

Posting videos and photos on her social media handles, Priyanka has not only captured the "consequences of conflict", but also the hope that blossoms even in these adverse conditions.

Priyanka had earlier visited Zimbabwe where she met kids who suffered from sexual abuse. The Quantico actress shared the inspiring stories of these students and how they came to Jordan from Syria after the civil war. These are 16-17 yr olds in a school in the Za'atari Refugee Camp.

After her visit, Chopra said, "Some of them want professional careers, some of them want to go back to their countries and rebuild". I'll keep you updated throughout the day. The educational system is trying their best to accommodate these kids but it is a struggle. Amid the majority of appreciative comments, there was one Twitter user who asked Priyanka to visit the rural areas of India. However, Priyanka was unperturbed and gave a sharp response. Not one to take things lying down, PeeCee gave a stern reply to the critic, saying she has been associated with UNICEF India for 12 years. What have you done?

This is how Priyanka's Jordan diary looks like.
