'America's Got Talent' names Darci Lynne Farmer its Season 12 victor

Fil-Am singer Angelica Hale is the second place victor on America's Got Talent season 12, which saw singing ventriloquist Darci Lynne Farmer take home the top title.

Heidi told her, "I can't imagine what your family must be going through right now and I just want to say that you are one fearless little young lady and one wonderful singer".

While she only started developing her skills two years ago, fans would have had no idea when she took to the stage Tuesday night.

The Oklahoma City youngster won the $1 million prize and a headlining appearance at a Las Vegas show. She got 52 million votes form Americans and it is the biggest achievement for her.

Mel B had used her Golden Buzzer for Darci Lynne and there is no question she is a favorite of the judges and the audience to win. The remaining comedians went next, with Darci Lynne beating Preacher Lawson for the fourth spot. "I am literally the happiest girl in the World and nothing can take that away!", she posted on Instagram following her Finals performance. Grace could become a big star and this could change, but she's not there just yet.

Based on the amount of votes they received, two more acts were eliminated: Sara and Hero along with Mandy Harvey, leaving the top three.

Oddly enough, Darci isn't even the first ventriloquist to win the show.

Amid section one of the America's Got Talent finale, the 12-year-old Darci Lynne ventriloquist overwhelmed the judges and the gathering of people with a KILLER execution of The Beatles' "With A Little Help From My Friends". They performed on "Anything You Can Do" from "Annie Get Your Gun" along with their puppets Petunia and Winston. Winning would've been incredible but I think we can all agree that @itsdarcilynne has earned that title for sure! So, here are 10 things about Darci Farmer you might not have known.
