YotaPhone 3 officially unveiled with 5.2-inch secondary e-ink display

The main USP of the phone is a Dual display i:e 5.2 inches HD E-Ink display on the back. Now, having the secondary display wasn't enough here with YotaPhone 3, so the company has also provided capacitive keys at the bottom of the secondary display.

Like most of the Android smartphones, Yotaphone comes with 5.5-inch 1080p OLED display on the front. Russian smartphone maker Yota has been swearing by this formula since 2012 and their latest offering - the YotaPhone 3, is a shining example of that.

The device is powered by energy-efficient Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 octa-core SoC, paired with 4 GB RAM.

The device can be pre-ordered from in September and will be available for sale from 18 September.

YotaPhone 3 comes in two variants - 64GB internal storage priced at 2,398 Yuan which is approximately Rs 23,054 and 128GB internal storage priced at 3,098 Yuan which is approximately Rs 29,784. The device offers standard camera features as well, the rear facing 12 MP camera comes features 4K video recording capability and a 13 MP front-facing camera. It's going to be released on September 18th. Recently, the renowned Chinese smartphone, Meizu has launched the Meizu Pro 7 series smartphones in China which is also praised for its dual display capabilities. In coming months the other regions will get the YotaPhone smartphone. On the software fronts (OS), the YotaPhone 3 runs company's proprietary Yota OS 3.0 custom UI skin, based on Google's Android 7.1.1 Nougat operating system. Inside it has a 3,300mAh capacity battery that can be charged with a USB Type-C cable. A 3300mAh Li-Ion non-removable battery powers the phone and there is a fingerprint sensor which is embedded in the home button.
