Winning Mega Millions ticket worth $393 million sold in IL

A single ticket sold in IL matched all the numbers drawn during Friday's Mega Millions jackpot, making the ticket worth an estimated $393 million.

The $393 million grand prize ticket was sold in Palos Heights, a suburb of Chicago. The ticket matched all six numbers drawn Friday night.

The jackpot has been growing for four months, having last been won on April 8 in California.

But if you didn't win, you haven't missed out on your chance for big bucks. Saturday night's Powerball drawing is expected cross $356 million.

Nobody has won the Powerball jackpot since June. That jackpot has been building since June 10. Winners who want the Cash Option payment must claim their prizes within the first 60 days after the drawing.

The odds of buying a jackpot-winning ticket are 258,890,850 to 1. What's more, if the chances against winning one are silly, the chances of winning both are basically insane squared - around one out of 76 quadrillion, or 76 took after by 15 zeros. A Texas man named Eliberto Cantu, who won $177 million from a ticket he purchased in Arkansas, was the other jackpot victor this year. Never even knew they had lottery. That's more than on movies, video games, books, music and sports tickets - combined.
