Wet and wild: ABC airs controversial Bachelor in Paradise clip

Last night, the host debuted the first episode of the Bachelor franchise spoof on Jimmy Kimmel Live! and introduced us to its ten toddler contestants indulging in "passionate play dates", "canoodling in the kiddie pool" and competing for the chance to find true love.

Corinne Olympios admits she was kind of a hot mess during that infamous day in the pool shooting "Bachelor in Paradise".

The new Season 4 trailer for "Bachelor In Paradise" heavily focuses on an alleged incident between contestants Corinne Olympios and (not pictured) DeMario Jackson.

Aired for the first time after The Bachelorette: After the Final Rose on Monday, the shocking clip shows a compilation of dramatic moments inside the wildest BIP season yet. Out of nowhere, producers comes to grab them and the cameramen are told to stop filming.

"When I talk to Corinne and DeMario, that's not just going to be part of a sit down like the Women or Men Tell All special where there's 30 people on set. All we know is that we aren't filming, so what the f**k is happening?" Ten days later, the studio announced the investigation was completed and found no evidence of misconduct.

The promo caused a lot of concern among avid watchers of the show, but ABC Entertainment President Channing Dungey told audience members at the Television Critics Association summer press tour that it was never meant to be sensationalized, saying, "We were never looking for a way to sensationalize [the scandal]".

These TV characters would be better than some of the lackluster Bachelors we've seen over the years. "It's a little bit of a wake-up call to make sure we have [safety protocols] in place". "We feel very good that we do".

Bachelor in Paradise season four will kick off its two-night premiere on Monday, August 14 at 8/7c and continue on Tuesday, August 15 at 8/7c on ABC.
