Tottenham Hotspur: Mauricio Pochettino disappointed with late lapse in concentration after Burnley

Chelsea will look to build on their 2-1 victory over Tottenham last weekend when they take on Everton at Stamford Bridge on Sunday afternoon.

The striker, signed from Leeds for £15million last week, stunned Spurs in stoppage time with his first Burnley goal to secure a 1-1 draw. "That is football. It was a tough game". We showed a little bit of a lack of concentration in the end.

In a game that saw very few chances in the 45, Dele Alli stepped up to open the scoring four minutes into the second-half to give the hosts' the crucial breakthrough. Alli managed to put the ball into the back of the net at the second attempt of asking after a good cross from Christian Eriksen was flicked onto the midfielder's path by Eric Dier. I'm pleased for Chris.

"I thought the belief and the endeavour of the side to get a point was outstanding", Burnley boss Sean Dyche said.

"I thought we actually handled the occasion well because it is a fantastic stadium, an awesome place against a very good side as well".

Chris Wood's injury-time equaliser extended Tottenham's miserable record at Wembley.

Tottenham found it hard to break down a stubborn Burnley defense, creating little to trouble goalkeeper Tom Heaton.

Kane had another chance to make it two for Spurs soon after the Brady chance when he was played in one on one against Heaton but again the 'keeper came out on top. A header was cleared off the line before Heaton tipped a 12-yard strike round the post and denied the striker from close-range.

Kane's blank in that contest means that he has now reached unlucky 13 when it comes to August outings without a goal.

They have now dropped five points in two matches at their temporary home - one more than in the whole of last season at White Hart Lane - winning once in eight outings under Pochettino there.
