Toilet-Ek Prem Katha screened for under privileged kids

Today, the sizzling Hollywood star Salma Hayek, gave her best wishes to Akshay Kumar for his latest release "Toilet: Ek Prem Katha". However, the collections are relatively lower as compared to Akshay Kumar's Rustom as well Brothers, a film which released around the same time as Toilet around two years ago.

Toilet: Ek Prem Katha is a story of a newly married couple, where the wife, disgusted by the open-defecation culture, lashes out and runs away from her husband's house. Akshay Kumar's film opened up great at the box office, the film started very well. "Also, Taran Adarsh tweeted, "#ToiletEkPremKatha picked up rapidly post noon onwards... It earned Rs 13.10 crore on Friday.

The movie Toilet Ek Prem Katha has been made in the budget of Rs. 18 crore and on its first day at the box office in India it has collected Rs. 13.10 crore.

What now remains to be seen is how does Toilet: Ek Prem Katha performs over the weekend, as it has been dubbed as a social service film.

The movie revolves around a small town newly Wednesday couple Akshay (Keshav) and Bhumi Pednekar (Jaya) and how problems prevail in their married life after Jaya, leaves her husband when she discovers that there is no toilet in the house. But the twist comes in his life when the lack of proper sanitation ruined their happy married life. But the first-day collection of Akshay's film proved that despite bad performance SRK remains the king at the box office. The film received positive reviews from the film critics along with the impressive ratings, the film is generating so much positive buzz.
