Sturridge Fit For Crystal Palace Game

Crystal Palace are hoping their former Liverpool striker Christian Benteke will be able to exploit the Anfield club's perceived defensive weakness from set pieces in Saturday's Premier League game.

Klopp made a decision to use James Milner as a full-back last season after some pretty disastrous performances from Moreno. "I don't know why other people are saying what they are saying, especially this guy because I've never even met him". "Burke is a very promising, young Scottish player". Klopp said. "I will never talk about something I spoke about with a player".

Zaha meanwhile could be out of action for the next month after leaving Selhurst Park with his right knee in a brace last Saturday.

Previewing the clash with Palace at his pre-match press conference, Liverpool manager Jürgen Klopp told reporters: "Daniel yes, I would say [he is fit enough to play]".

"Our natural game will be attacking and we know we have to fill that in with a real defensive spirit".

However, Klopp is still without Brazil forward Coutinho, ruled out with a back problem, at the end of a week that saw Liverpool reiterate their desire to hold onto their wantaway star amid continued interest from Barcelona.

Frank de Boer has revealed RB Leipzig winger Oliver Burke is a player of interest for Crystal Palace, but stressed they are tracking many targets. We already have a team which I like and could play football with.

With Liverpool so good going forward and so poor at the back, expect goals from both sides.

Despite the negatives from the opening two games of the season, there has been much to admire in aspects of Liverpool's play. "We came back yesterday and had a little session, and it was an intense game in Hoffenheim so we have one or two little things with players which we have to see".

Klopp's best friend David Wagner is the manager at Huddersfield and the pair have spoken about last week's match, although Klopp said there was not a great deal of discussion about tactics.

"I think we got rid of the expectations of 20 years ago and created our own expectations for all the people".
