OnePlus releases OnePlus 5 in limited edition soft gold

OnePlus releases OnePlus 5 in limited edition soft gold

The Limited Edition OnePlus 5 Soft Gold variant has 6GB of RAM and 64GB of storage. Besides Amazon, the new OnePlus 5 Soft Gold will also be available for purchase at OnePlus Experience stores in Bengaluru, Mall of India Noida, and Select Citywalk in New Delhi. This variant will on on sale at 12 noon EDT which is about 9:30 PM local time in India. The OnePlus 5 Slate Gray shipped with the standard 6GB RAM + 64GB internal storage model, and the Midnight Black shipped with the upgraded 8GB + 128GB specs. OnePlus 5 Soft Gold is a Limited Edition device and the stock of the new colour will be limited. The new color option will be available from midnight on Amazon and company's online store.

Additionally, OnePlus will begin selling the Slate Gray model with 8GB RAM and 128GB storage in the coming weeks for $539.

OnePlus teased its followers on social media a few days ago that a new colour variant of the OnePlus 5 will be unveiled soon, and everyone anticipated a RED device. OnePlus claims it takes over 180 days for it to create the matte finish coating, covering everything from diamond cutting to sandblasting. "Each second matters in this process or the anodised color takes on a different shade", OnePlus explains the coloring process in a blog post. If we talk about the specifications of the phone, the phone is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor. The graphics are handled by an Adreno 540 GPU.

Keeping OnePlus 5's design and the dual camera setup's uncanny resemblance to the iPhone 7 Plus in mind, a RED colour variant was not a far-fetched idea. On the front is a 16MP autofocus camera for selfies and video calls. For connectivity, the OnePlus 5 includes Bluetooth 5.0, NFC, GPS, Wi-Fi and 4G LTE. The latest OnePlus 5 Soft Gold will appeal to those who are looking for the flawless balance of lovely design and powerful features, said Vikas Agarwal, General Manager of OnePlus India.
