Hot and humid Sunday with hit/miss PM storms

A 30 percent chance of showers can be expected throughout the day. Although generally, temperatures remain warm with a hot afternoon and limited rain chances for the rest of the day. High temperatures will once again be seasonably warm - if not slightly above norms. More of Northeast Kansas looks to crack into the low 80s for tomorrow, with some mid 80s mixing in, as well. We will see highs in the mid to upper 70s for the region. That allows a little more sun and a little more heat here: highs in the middle and upper 80s. There may be a few more clouds on Tuesday than there will be on Monday. Highest rain totals over the past 24 hours were in and around the areas from Sherman to Bonham to Greenville to Sulphur Springs. Clouds will filter in through the late afternoon hours from storms far to our west. Next weekend, we'll have highs in the mid 80s. Monday through Thursday should be partly to mostly sunny with any pop-up showers or storms confined to the mountains.
