Chester Bennington's wife to decide if Carpool Karaoke episode will go ahead

The first episode debuted overnight with Will Smith in the passenger seat, blasting through "Gettin' Jiggy Wit It" and "Boom!" Apple Music has signed on for 20 episodes of the web series.

Corden and The Fresh Prince began the show by singing along to Smith's 1997 classic "Gettin' Jiggy Wit It", during which, a full marching band gathered around the auto to provide "surround sound."The duo also rapped together on "Boom!"

James Corden is back in the carpool lane, with Will Smith riding shotgun.

It was originally scheduled for release in October, but Carpool Karaoke creator and Late Late Show host James Corden now says that decision is up to Bennington's family.

"I talked to Barack at about it", he said.

The Fresh Prince of Bel Air star joined the United Kingdom presenter as they drove around Los Angeles while listening and singing to Smith's back catalogue. The only answer I know is to raise our babies with every ounce of love I have left. "Like, I really, I got a bit depressed afterwards.Because I'd been looking forward to it for so long and I'm such a fan". "I had to look you up after".

Corden, an executive producer on the Apple Music spin-off, said Bennington's family should decide whether it is aired. Ariana Grande, Alicia Keys, John Legend, Miley Cyrus and Game Of Thrones actresses Sophie Turner and Maisie Williams are all scheduled to appear.

Now that the Will Smith episode has aired, the only episode that matters to me will be the one with Billy Eichner and Metallica.
