Because We Need It: The gentlelady from California reclaims her time

Congresswoman Maxine Waters, D-Calif., offered a thorough response to all the attention she's received in her very public battle against President Trump at BET's "Black Girls Rock!". "As a matter of fact, I have said over and over again, I think he's the most deplorable person I've ever met in my life".

Videos of the California congresswoman, who has been critical of Republican President Donald Trump, have become a viral success on social media, including one where she insisted that she was "reclaiming my time" at a recent congressional hearing. "I think he is going to connect the dots and I think we're nearing a constitutional crisis".

"I need to hear these conversations", Waters continued to applause from the audience.

And considering that Pence is far more beholden to right wing ideology than Trump likely is, has lied on multiple occasions regarding the Russian Federation scandal, and that even prior to inauguration, he was already proving to be the most powerful vice president ever, the idea of removing Trump only to end up with President Pence does not sit well with much of the nation.

Co-host Paula Faris asked Waters if she was disturbed that President Trump's conversations with Mexican President Enrique Peña Nieto and Australian Prime Minister Malcolm Turnbull were "illegally leaked" to the Washington Post.

That's what the Democrat from California told the hosts of ABC's "The View" during an interview on Friday. They won't be able to stand with him, if it is proven that they colluded. "I am not running for anything except the impeachment of Trump". "They want us to do something".

"I have my hopes for Mueller, as most people do", she said. I may not like it, but I feel this: "what you don't want to hear, don't listen to it... but when you start to talk about limiting voices and opinions, I think that's unsafe in a democracy".
