WWE Cancels 'Talking Smack' Talk Show - But Forgets To Tell Hosts

"Talking Smack", which had been airing each Tuesday following "Smackdown Live", was apparently turfed on Friday, with wrestling insiders learning the news and taking to Twitter to lament the loss of the show.

Many heads were turned when WWE Talking Smack was canceled this week, but evidently it was the only one that mattered that didn't seem to care.

According to Sports Illustrated, the show wasn't cancelled due to lack of viewers, it was cancelled by Vince McMahon himself. "Talking Smack and Raw Talk will air following pay-per-view events, and Tuesday will continue to feature 205 Live".

Check out WWE's official statement below. Sources close to the situation reported that McMahon was unhappy with the show and strongly believed it did not serve the company's best interests.

With Renee Young and Daniel Bryan as the co-hosts of the show, it furthered storylines and provided an outlet for advanced character development.

When 205 Live debuted on the Network, Talking Smack was moved back an hour and was taped during that show. He was present last week and made the decision to cut the weekly format, and, per McMahon, eventually end it altogether.
