Piercing shots: last minute brides, the crashed helicopter

Brazilian bride, Rosemere do Nascimento Silva can be seen affectionately holding her brother's (Silvano Nascimento da Silva) arm as they fly toward the church where her fiancé, Udirley Damasceno, 32, was waiting.

The video, filmed by the pregnant photographer who was also in the helicopter, was released as part of the subsequent investigation and published by local news G1 Official.

Leaving her future husband behind, bride Silva just wanted to surprise him and the 300 guests of their wedding with a grand entrance of her arriving in her brand new wedding gown. In the video, the bride looks happy and excited as she looks out of the video. As the video continues, it's clear that the helicopter experiences some sort of turbulence.

Towards the end of the clip, an alarm goes off and the picture begins to shake. Photographer Nayla Cristina Neves Lousada sits beside the pilot in the front. The bride and her brother panic while the pilot is heard telling them to calm down.

"All brides have a dream and hers was to arrive by helicopter to their wedding without anyone knowing", Carlos Eduardo Batista, one of the organisers, told Brazilian media, Globo, at the time.

While the cause of the crash is still unknown, police in Sao Paulo together with specialists in aeronautics have looked into reports that it might have hit a tree due to bad visibility with rain, fog and cloud.

The four victims did not survive the tragedy even after eight fire engines were rushed to the scene of the crash.

The groom, Udirley Damasceno, was reportedly informed by the pastor while he was standing at the altar. Tragically, the helicopter crashed a few miles away from the ceremony, leaving all passengers dead.
