Migos Rapper Booted Off Delta Flight for Disobeying Instructions

After #Takeoff was kicked off the plane for "disobeying instructions" given to him by a cabin crew member, the other two members, and their manager left with him.

Migos posted the following item on its Instagram page after it was booked onto a different flight.

Before they were removed, Takeoff's bag was on the ground, and the flight attendant asked the passengers to put it in the overhead compartment. Their manager told TMZ that he believes this was a case of racial profiling. Their manager, however, told TMZ that Takeoff failed to follow instructions and place his bag in the bin because he was asleep. He couldn't because he was sleeping, according to his manager.

The irony of someone called "Takeoff" being deplaned was not lost on some Twitter users. Delta has released a statement to Variety about the situation and it counters the racially-motivated claim.

Migos made it to their scheduled performance later that night, reports the Des Moines Register, taking the Seven Flags stage just after 10:30 p.m.

Migos has a show in Des Moines now scheduled for 10 p.m. Watch a video of the incident below.

According to the outlet the group's members-Quavo, Offset, and Takeoff-were flying first class from Atlanta to Iowa when a flight attendant noticed that one of Takeoff's bags was in the aisle and not in the overhead storage. The trio's manager confronted Delta staff about the incident, during which he threatened to file a lawsuit against them and claimed they were acting against the group because of racial profiling.
