The rest of the cast includes Jeremy Tardy as Night Thrasher; Calum Worthy as Speedball; Matthew Moy as Microbe; and Kate Comer as Debrii. This Is Us' Milana Vayntrub will play Squirrel Girl, who is really a fangirl whose greatest power is optimism.

It's unclear if New Warriors will take place in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, as it will be Marvel's first comedy TV series since it began producing its own content in Hollywood. As his superhero name suggests, his powers make him immortal-or so he thinks.

Meanwhile, Mr. Immortal is a man with the power to live forever, but 'hasn't made use of it at all, figuring he's got more than enough time to get around to being a hero eventually'. Marvel describes Dwayne as "a shameless self-promoter and entrepreneur who also deeply believes in justice".

New Warriors will debut with a ten episode first season on the basic cable channel and follows in the footsteps of the upcoming Cloak and Dagger, which will be the debut Marvel series on Freeform. The half-hour scripted comedy comes from Enlisted and Cougar Town creator Kevin Biegel, and today brings the news that the series has completed casting for all six key characters. Known as Zack Smith when he's not out fighting crime, Microbe can communicate with germs to tell where you've been and what you did. Good luck keeping any secrets around him. A people pleaser with a misplaced sense of confidence, he can throw kinetic balls of energy with little ability to control them.

Deborah is proud, amusing and quick-witted.

"At Freeform, we are committed to finding distinct and entertaining characters that our audience can enjoy and relate to", said Elizabeth Boykewich, senior vice president, Casting and Talent, Freeform. Comer (The Comeback) will portray Deborah Fields/Debrii, described as a "proud, amusing and quick-witted" lesbian character with low-level telekinetic abilities that are "very low like she can move a paper cup".
