Leak reveals Nokia 8, Nokia 9 processor details

The Nokia 3, which was launched a few weeks ago has already been received well by critics and consumers alike and the Nokia 5 and Nokia 6 are generating tremendous buzz.

Nokia 6 has a 5.5 Inch HD display powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 which is supported by 3/4GB of RAM and 32GB/64GB internal storage.

6/7/17: HMD Global has announced that Nokia has rekindled its decades-old relationship with Zeiss, hinting that the upcoming Nokia 9 could be the firm's first Android phone to pack Carl Zeiss optics. The names of the new mobiles are Nokia 3, Nokia 5 and Nokia 6. Nokia 6 buyers with wanderlust are also in for a treat, as Make My Trip is also giving away a total of Rs 2500 off which comprises a Rs 1800 discount on hotel stay and Rs 700 off on flight tickets. The Nokia 6 has also performed well in face-offs against other prime brands, as evidenced in this specs-only face-off against the Xiaomi Redmi Note 4.

Commenting on the partnership, Tomas Hrdlicka, Chief Marketing Officer, Home Credit India Finance, said, "This strategic partnership is aimed at enabling customers to have easier access to Nokia phones with hassle free financing options". To purchase Nokia 6 you will have to register for the phone first.

21/6/17: A listing at the FCC, spotted by Phone Arena, has hinted that Nokia has canned the 4GB version of the Nokia 9, and now plans to release 6GB and 8GB configurations.

Release dateAccording to a report at Nokia Power User, the Nokia 9 will see an official unveiling in Q3, with signs pointing to a late-July/early-August launch event.

According to a report by India Today Tech, the company is trying to meet the demand of Nokia 3. It sports a metal unibody design and runs Android 7.1.1 Nougat out-of-the-box. However, it is a bit unlikely for HMD Global to use this aged chipset and the Nokia 2 might end up getting a MediaTek chip. The rear panel also houses a 3000 mAh battery unit.
