EVO Smash 4 finals will be broadcast on Disney XD

The initiative from Disney is coinciding with the launch of Disney XP, which will be the nightly programming block of Disney XD to provide viewers with gaming-focused content including original series, and a variety of programs centered around popular YouTubers and game streamers.

You'll be able to catch all main Evo game action live on Twitch.

The finals for each game will be spread out between Saturday and Sunday.

In a move to target the growing market, Disney will be featuring an esports programming block on its television channel Disney XP. According to Polygon, if you are only interested in eyeing the "best of the best" Evo has to offer, tune into the main Evo channel.

Disney XD will air the finals of Evo's Super Smash Bros. for Wii U tournament live. Most will recognize standouts like Street Fighter V, Super Smash Bros.

Games in attendance this year will be as follows: Street Fighter V, Tekken 7, Guilty Gear Xrd REV 2, Injustice 2, Super Smash Bros. Melee, Tekken 7, Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3 and BlazBlue Central Fiction.

In addition to this event being the first time ESPN has aired a live Nintendo game tournament on its platforms, this will also mark the first time Disney XD has ever aired live programming on its network.

Evo5 - This channel will host The Jump Off, a talk show for the fighting game community which also offers commentary on the games.

Evo 2017 will showcase nine different fighting games in Las Vegas, Nevada between July 14th and July 16th at the Mandalay Bay Resort & Casino, which is the largest tournament of its genre. When you start seeing highlights and the like, majority will be from that selection.
