Emergency withdrawal: Man stuck in ATM

Customers of a Bank of America in Corpus Christi, Texas pulled up to quite a shock at the ATM.

When police finally arrived, they were confused by the muffled cries for help they heard coming from the ATM. He actually passed the notes through the receipt slot of the ATM.

With no phone, and no one around to free him, the repairman chose to write notes asking for help and slip it through the receipt slot, hoping a bank customer would see them.

"Please help. I'm stuck in here and I don't have my phone. I'm stuck in here". Please call my boss'.

Someone called the police after a number of people reportedly dismissed it as a joke.

"Sure enough, we (could) hear a little voice coming from the machine".

At first, Olden says the officers thought it was a joke too, but they quickly learned the truth. The man was stuck inside for about two hours. "So we're all thinking this is a joke - this has got to be a joke", Olden said. "It was just insane", Olden said.

A supervisor for the worker, who had left his phone in his truck, did not know how to get him out, so police kicked down a door that led into the service room where he was PIN-ed inside.

'You'll never see this again in your life that somebody's stuck in the ATM machine.
