The Goodbye Christopher Robin Trailer Here and It's Emotional As Heck

For future reference, Goodbye Christopher Robin is about the real Christopher Robin (Milne's son), and Christopher Robin is about fictional Christopher Robin, who has bears, donkeys and tigers for mates.

A lush new trailer has been released for Fox Searchlight's "Goodbye Christopher Robin", a biopic depicting the British author A.A. Milne's discovery of his "Winnie the Pooh" books via the influence of his son, Christopher Robin.

"Goodbye Christopher Robin tells the true story of A.A. Milne, the creator of Winnie the Pooh. Robbie plays Milnes' wife, Daphne, while Kelly McDonald stars as Christopher's nanny, Robin". Check out the trailer and poster below for the film also starring Kelly Macdonald, Stephen Campbell Moore, Alex Lawther, Richard McCabe, Nico Mirallegro, Geraldine Somerville and Phoebe Waller-Bridge.

Simon Curtis (Woman in Gold, My Week with Marilyn) directs the film off of a screenplay by Frank Cottrell Boyce and Simon Vaughan.

Margot Robbie jumps from the comic world of Suicide Squad into another literary universe in her upcoming film, Goodbye Christopher Robin. One of whom is Christopher Robin.

Goodbye Christopher Robin is set for release on September 29th in the United Kingdom and on November 10th in the States and also stars Kelly Macdonald, Stephen Campbell Moore, Alex Lawther, Richard McCabe, Nico Mirallegro, Geraldine Somerville and Phoebe Waller-Bridge.

What the trailer doesn't show, but the synopsis (below) alludes to is that the mega fame and success that befalls the Milne family in the wake of the Winnie-the-Pooh's success may cost the family some of their newfound happiness. Christopher Robin Milne's own toys are now under glass in NY where 750,000 people visit them every year.
