Rain Chances Down Today, But Increase for the Weekend

Highs in the upper 80s. Enjoy the quiet weather and stay cool!

Tonight there is a conditional threat for storms in the area this evening with uncertainty on how widespread it will be so stay updated with the latest forecast throughout the day. With the heat and humidity popped up late in the day and into evening.

TROPICS: One low latitude disturbance in the far eastern Atlantic will move westward in coming days with only low odds of development.

The morning will be mostly quiet over land, but there will be some scattered storms over the gulf and near the coast in the morning.

Rather cloudy, turning more humid with a shower this morning, then showers and a t-storm later on.

Up top, the Severe Weather Outlook Area for this PM/Night. It will feel more like the low 90s this afternoon. In fact, it looks like showers and thunderstorms could happen through Wednesday. More clouds, more drizzle, and a better chance of showers and thunderstorms are in the cards for tomorrow. Friday's highs will be in the mid-70s. "So, we're just 'cooling" back down to reality for mid-June. It won't be a bad weekend by any measure, but it won't be picture-perfect either.

Saturday will be warm and muggy with a few afternoon storms and a high of 90 degrees. It is still warm in the lower and middle 80s. In fact, highs will soar into the 90s (once again) by next Wednesday.
