"Pakistan remains in illegal occupation of a part of our territory", maintains India during an an interactive dialogue held at the UN Human Rights Council.

During weekly news briefing, Foreign Office spokesperson Nafees Zakaria said that India was seeking a conflict with Pakistan.

"While we have no desire to escalate the situation, Pakistani armed forces would respond effectively to unprovoked violations", Zakria said.

"India is playing a devious game in Afghanistan".

Replying to a question regarding the 17th Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) 2- days summit commenced on Thursday in Astana in which Pakistan will become its full member, the spokesperson said all the member countries have to play an important role in this summit for regional peace and peaceful solutions to regional issues.

The Foreign Office has warned India against making any strategic miscalculation, Radio Pakistan reported.

Pakistan, while advocating restraint to others, uses all powers at the disposal of the state, including air power, to subjugate its own people, he told the 35th Session of the Human Rights Council of the United Nations in Geneva.

"We strongly condemn Indian blatant killings and human rights violations in Indian Occupied Kashmir", he said.

About the 2007 Samjhauta train blast, he said that there was a pledge made by India at the highest political level that they would share the findings of the investigations. "On the contrary, we have noted with deep concern that over the years, Indian Government has employed systematic strategies to exonerate those who had confessed their involvement, and those who were identified in those confessional statements to be involved in Samjhauta Express terrorist attack", he said.

"Despite repeated high-level requests to India and Pakistan, permission for my staff to have unconditional access to both sides of the Line of Control in India-administered Jammu and Kashmir and Pakistan-administered Kashmir has still not been granted, and we continue to receive reports of increasing violence, civilian casualties, curfews and website blackout", Al-Hussein further adds.
