Names of man, 2 children, killed in Mississauga crash released

An adult and two children died, and three other people were injured in a two-car crash in Mississauga, Ont., late Sunday, Peel Regional Police say.

It happened around 11 p.m. Sunday when a Mazda 6 crossed the centre line on Winston Churchill Blvd., north of Queen Elizabeth Way, and collided with a Mercedes carrying five passengers - three of which were kids.

Canville Roberta, a 40-year-old Mississauga man driving the Mazda, was pronounced dead at the scene.

Two passengers in the Mercedes, both children, were killed. Brown's father, 24-year-old Camall Brown-Williams, who was the driver of the Mercedes, sustained non-life-threatening injuries.

Police are asking anyone who witnessed the incident or has dash camera footage of the crash to contact investigators at 905-453-2121, ext.

Winston Churchill Boulevard is closed between the QEW and North Sheridan Way as police investigate Monday morning. Police vehicles also escorted ambulances to hospitals.

Information may also be left anonymously by calling Peel Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477), or by visiting or by sending a text message to CRIMES (274637) with the word "PEEL" and then the tip.
