PM to attend US-Arab, Islamic Summit in Riyadh

HM the King wished every success for the two high-profile summits in order to serve GCC, Arab and Islamic issues, and consolidate the solid strategic relations and strong cooperation with friendly US.

The meeting was attended by King's Office Director Jafar Hassan and the King's personal envoy to Saudi Arabia.

The minister conveyed to HM King Hamad greetings and appreciation from the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, and wishes of further progress and prosperity to the people of Bahrain.

The King held official talks with his Sierra Leonean counterpart at the Al-Salam Palace in Jeddah on Sunday.

This he stated while talking to Saudi Minister for Information and Culture Dr Awwad Bin Saleh Al-Awwad who called on him in Islamabad on Tuesday.

In other news, under the auspices of the Custodian of Two Holy Mosques, King Abdulaziz University (KAU) announced its annual exhibition "Prince Nayif's Values Exhibition".

"Pakistan gives great importance to its relations with the Saudi Arabia", he told the visiting minister.

Trump's upcoming visit to Saudi Arabia will enhance cooperation between the USA and Muslim countries in the fight against extremism, the Saudi foreign minister, Adel Al Jubeir, has been quoted as saying.

Earlier today, the President also met the President of the Islamic Development Bank (IsDB Group) His Excellency Dr. Bandar bin Mohammed bin Hamza Asaad Al Hajjar and the Director-General for the Saudi Fund for Development (SFD), among others.

The President and entourage have left for Turkey where he is scheduled to meet with the Turkish President, H.E Tayyip Erdogan.
