Michelle Obama says she will not run for president

Another revenue stream for the Obamas will be their book deals. "You don't have to be first lady or president to have influence".

She wishes to help the country as a private citizen, without being in the political spotlight.

His old boss did it, too.

Still, promises were made to be broken in politics, and the public persists in asking this question.

According to CBS News, Barack said, "She will never run for office". "They had a sleepover, because of course on Inauguration Day, because my girls are so normal, they're like, 'Well, eight girls are gonna be sleeping here because its our last time, and we want pizza and we want nuggets.' And it's like, really?"

"If he goes down the road of speaking for a lot of money, that has the potential to hurt the party".

"No, no", he said at an event in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.

Up next for Obama: a speech next month in Boston, where he will receive the John F Kennedy Profile in Courage Award, and trips to Berlin to meet with German Chancellor Angela Merkel and Italy for the Global Food Innovation Summit. "It's all well and good until you start running, and then the knives come out", she said at the American Institute of Artist's annual conference in Orlando. The esteemed agency also represents Bill and Hillary Clinton.

"No, it's absolutely true", Michelle Obama said.

"In my other life before I was the first lady, I worked in economic development and in planning ... so I got to learn how important of a role architects play in the lifeblood and of a city". "You can't start recruiting from a pool that doesn't exist, so you have to build that pool", she said. "It's like coming nearly full circle for me".

"Politics is tough, and it's hard on a family", she continued. They found it soothing, she said. She stayed away from expressing her thoughts on her former residence's current occupant, but she did make it clear that she is not ever going to run for office.

But "public service will always be in our blood", she added.
