'Baahubali 2- The Conclusion' becomes the highest grossing Hindi film ever

It has become the first Indian movie to enter the coveted Rs 100 crore club in US. Movie industry never seen such kind of super duper block buster in its travel. Looks like "Baahubali 2: The Conclusion" would break many more records, in the coming days.

At the pree booking counters Baahubali is number one in India to grab superb occupancy. Made at a lavish budget of Rs 150 crore, the film is tipped to be a road thriller and a lot of the story unfolds on the move.

"Bollywood Trade analyst Taran Adarsh tweeted, "#Baahubali2 to surpass *lifetime biz* of #Dangal (Rs 387.38 cr)... International Workers' Day holiday on May 1 ensured that the movie retained good viewership and the flick ended its first week collection at Rs 62 crore with a net income of Rs 51.2 crore. With the end of the second week, the movie has broken a huge record. Baahubali 2 has collected Rs 111.81 crore in North America. Yesterday, the film has trumped Amir Khan's Dangal to emerge as the highest grossing Hindi film in Bollywood.

Back home, Baahubali 2 beat previous record holder, Aamir Khan-starrer Dangal, which had earned a total of Rs 79 crore. The movie garnered Rs 230 crore collection in overseas. The quantum of the success of a film depends directly on how many of those audience pockets it has been able to reach and appeal to. The teaser of the movie was released with the blockbuster Baahubali: The Conclusion, and it will see Prabhas in a different avatar than his last movie.
