Sunshine returns on Sunday along with milder temperatures

After some nasty weather the past few days with clouds, rain with wintry mix, and cool temperatures, we finally begin to turn the corner today. Highs will be in the 60 degree range with sunshine leading to increasing clouds in the afternoon. Lows tonight will remain mild in the lower 50s. Nice weather returns Wednesday and early Thursday before a second bigger rain storm potentially deluges CT next Thursday night into Friday with heavy rain wind.

Clouds and scattered showers likely linger for much of Friday, though next weekend looks mainly dry at first glance.

Friday: Rain and wind.

Overnight skies will become partly cloudy with 30 per cent chance of rain showers or wet flurries in the evening. The line is expected to weaken as it crosses the I-75 corridor due to the loss of heating from the sun. Rain arrives Monday night and continues all day Tuesday, but temperatures will be in the upper 60s. As of now, a stray shower can not be ruled out but temperatures will be cooler. Sunday will feature mostly sunny conditions with highs in the upper 60s.

We bring on better weather for Wednesday, with temperatures yet again around 60 degrees.

Tuesday: Rain. Highs 48-55.
