Star Wars Theme Park Teaser Featurette

Star Wars Theme Park Teaser Featurette

"These new lands at Disneyland and Walt Disney World will transport guests to a whole new Star Wars planet, including an epic Star Wars adventure that puts you in the middle of a climactic battle between the First Order and the Resistance". "It's a remote frontier outpost somewhere on the edge of wild space, a place for us to discover new stories", continued Trowbridge.

The Star Wars-themed lands are in the very development stages at the moment, but the end of the video teased a 2019 launch. What is clear is that the "imagineers" and executives have big plans to use technology in a new and exciting way.

The team revealed that they're not ready to announce all the details yet for the project. They didn't go into full detail, likely because they're still planning everything out, but they suggested that you'll have some sort of ID that records the choices you make.

"We wanted to build new Star Wars stories, new Star Wars destinations", Trowbridge said during the panel. Let's say you're piloting the Millenium Falcon, and you do a bad job.

Your stay also gets you buffet breakfasts, lunches, and evening dining, exclusive park admission to Star Wars Land, and starship amenities including a pool area and water garden, fitness area, onboard cantina, and - wait for it - robotic droid butlers.

"This used to be a vibrant trading port back in the old sub-light-speed days, but now with the advent of hyperspace it's prominence has fallen and faded a little bit".

Fans of the original Battlefront found it hard to find matches once new maps and modes were released as DLC, which is what influenced the decision to snub the season pass. That is exactly what Walt Disney Imagineering and Lucasfilm did at the four-day celebration when it spilled just enough beans about the upcoming two Star Wars-themed Lands that will take place in lands much farther away.

Earlier this month, meanwhile, Kathleen confirmed the late Carrie Fisher will not be appearing in "Star Wars Episode IX" - even though her brother Todd Fisher hinted she would.
