'Fate of the Furious' races to biggest global box office opening ever

The film is performing well not only Internationally but in India too.

It collected approximately 5 crores in India on Monday.

Vin and Rock "met privately several times" to work out the issues that arose during the filming of The Fate of the Furious, sources tell TMZ. Speaking to his fans, Vin said, "I hope that you love this movie and I hope you know that we made our hearts".

The craze is reflecting in India as well as despite clashing with Vidya Balan's "Begum Jaan", the movie has emerged as a clear victor on the box-office.

In Singapore, the total box office collection for Fast and Furious 7 was US$6.81 million.

That included $190 million in China - the biggest ever debut for any film in the world's second largest economy - bringing its total global opening to $532 million and breaking the previous record of $529 million held by "Star Wars: The Force Awakens" (2015).

"Furious 8", released on April 12, is directed by F Gary Gray, the film zoomed to an estimated Dollars 532.5 million global debut over Easter weekend, including USD 100.2 million in the U.S. and a USD 432.2 million overseas.

"Beauty" earned another $13.7 million to bring its five-week domestic take to $454.7 million but, as with "The Fate of the Furious", the Disney fairytale starring Emma Watson and Dan Stevens is doing its biggest business overseas.

Apart from the ensemble cast of Vin Diesel, Dwayne Johnson, Jason Statham, Michelle Rodriguez, Tyrese Gibson, Chris Bridges, Nathalie Emmanuel, Kurt Russell, Scott Eastwood and Helen Mirren, Academy Award victor Charlize Theron features as a fierce villain named Cipher, who has the technology to hack into the world's computerized cars in this 8th installment of action franchise film.
