Cyrus Kouandjio found partially clothed, asked cops to shoot him

When the Bills hit their training facility for OTAs on Thursday, Kouandjio was absent.

Bills offensive tackle Cyrus Kouandjio was taken to the Erie County Medical Center for observation after a unusual interaction with police on Tuesday.

The Bills said they are monitoring Kouandjio's condition and still gathering information.

It's unclear what Kouandjio was doing or how he got into the field, located about a 5-minute drive from Bills headquarters.

Not far from the scene of an automobile accident in Elma, N.Y., police encountered Kouandjio partially clothed in a field.

The statement continues, "We dont' have all the details, so we won't have any further comment at this time".

A police source told Buffalo News that they believe Kouandjio pulled off of the highway when he saw emergency personnel responding to the crash. They found his vehicle abandoned on the side of the road.

Kouandjio was "not fully clothed" and had climbed over an electric fence and walked into the field after pulling his vehicle off the road.

Kouandjio started five games last season in place of injured left tackle Cordy Glenn.

Kouandjio was not arrested, and was transported to a medical facility for observation.
