Zlatan Ibrahimovic: Jose Mourinho is the flawless manager for Manchester United

Napoli's fanbase is already thinking of next season, with the possibility of star striker Dries Mertens moving either to Manchester United (there have been talks with his agent on the matter), Liverpool or even Everton and Inter Milan.

The Swedish striker arrived at Old Trafford on a free transfer from PSG last summer and many questioned whether he would be able to cut it in the Premier League in the latter stages of his career.

Zlatan Ibrahimovic says he is "happy" at Manchester United but has refused to rule out a move to Napoli in the future.

"I'd say yes [Ibrahimovic should be a given a fresh two-year deal at United]", the former club skipper told Omnisport.

However, Ibrahimovic - who signed a one-year deal with the option of a second upon joining United - is no certainty to remain in Manchester next season as he is yet to extend his contract amid reports LA Galaxy are ready to make him the highest paid player in MLS history.

"In order to raise my level, I had to come to England and prove to everyone what I could do". Ultimately, it's how Mourinho manages him over a two-year period because he wants to play every match. "He works you so that when you are on the pitch, you give 200 percent, and this is what I needed at my age". If you can't keep up with a certain rhythm here, then it's hard.

"Zlatan won't be in Naples [next season]".

EFL Cup winners - thanks largely to an Ibrahimovic brace in the final against Southampton at Wembley - and Europa League quarterfinalist, United lies sixth in the Premier League despite being unbeaten in the top flight since last October.
